Creamy French Onion Soup
3 tbsp Lactantia Butter 45 ml
2 cups onions, thinly sliced 500 ml
3 tbsp all purpose flour 45 ml
2 cups vegetable stock 500 ml
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 10 ml
1 ½ cups Beatrice 2% Milk 375 ml
½ cup Balderson Old Cheddar, shredded 125 ml

Cooking Time: 50 minutes
1. In a large pot melt butter over medium
heat. Add onions and stir to coat in melted butter.
Cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions
2. Add flour and stir to coat onions. Cook for 1 minute.
Whisk in stock and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer
for 20 minutes.
3. Stir in milk and continue cooking until heated through.
Remove from heat and add shredded cheese. Stir until
melted. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
